Privacy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
This site is a personal website. It is intentionally simple about what it collects, what it shares, and what it does not do.
What this site does not do
- It does not set cookies.
- It does not run client-side analytics, pixels, fingerprinting, or session recording.
- It does not embed third-party trackers.
- It does not share your personal information with anyone.
What this site does do
- Server access logs. Like any website, requests to pauldlug.com hit Cloudflare, which records standard HTTP access metadata (URL, user agent, referrer, IP address, country). These logs are retained for a short period for operational and security purposes.
- Outbound links to Nicia. Links from this site that point to nicia.ai include
utm_source=pauldlugand related campaign parameters. Nicia’s own analytics (PostHog) sees the click as originating from this site. This is standard attribution, not cross-site tracking — and it only happens if you click one of those links. - Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe to my newsletter, your email address is sent to Beehiiv to handle list management and delivery. Beehiiv’s privacy practices apply. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
- External links. Posts may link to external sites (GitHub, typegraph.dev, third-party articles). Those destinations have their own privacy practices, which this site does not control.
Your choices
- If you do not want server access logs to record your IP, you can use a VPN, Tor, or a privacy-focused browser. The logs do not identify you by name.
- If you do not want to appear in Nicia’s analytics, do not click outbound Nicia links from this site.
- If you do not want to receive newsletter emails, do not subscribe — or unsubscribe.
